Privacy Policy

Latchi is a breastfeeding tracker designed with your privacy in mind. All your feeding data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.

Latchi stores the following data locally on your device:

• Feeding session records (side, start time, duration)
• App preferences (next feeding side, onboarding status)
• Trial start date for the free trial period

This data never leaves your device unless you choose to back it up via iCloud.

Latchi uses PostHog to collect anonymous usage analytics to help us improve the app experience. This includes:

• Screen views and navigation patterns
• Feature usage (e.g. session starts, widget interactions)
• Subscription events (trial start, conversion)

No personal health data, feeding details, or personally identifiable information is included in analytics. You can opt out of analytics in your device's privacy settings.

We do not collect, store, or transmit:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Health data beyond feeding sessions
• Advertising identifiers
• Your specific feeding session details

Latchi offers a yearly auto-renewable subscription processed through the Apple App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase-related data to manage your subscription. No personal health data is shared with RevenueCat.

If you use iCloud backup on your device, your feeding data may be included in your device backup. This is managed by Apple's iCloud service and subject to Apple's privacy policy.

Latchi's home screen widget displays feeding information using shared local storage (App Groups). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted externally.

Latchi does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app is intended for use by parents and caregivers.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the app. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Latchi uses the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat — subscription management
• PostHog — anonymous usage analytics
• Apple App Store — payment processing

Each service has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
